Legends narrate the divine origin of the territory of Cori, anciently known as Cori, where our olive oil is born. Dardanus, Aeneas, or Corax are the godly heroes of the Troy Battle who spark the foundations of this fabulous town just out of Rome. Roman, Renaissance and Mediaeval Monuments, traditional taverns, and the exceptional human stories of great courage and intelligence materialise in the extraordinary views of the historical centre of Cori. In fact, Cori preserves the same ancient, rich, and bright character inherited from the past. Nowadays Cori is the hill at the centre of the group of sweet and limestone slopes where our olive tree tenures are. Our lands are protected on their eastern side by the Lepini Mountains. On the opposite side, they embrace the perspectives of the millenary terraces leaning on the Pomptine plain and pointing at the Tyrrhenian Sea. The tenures let the blessing breeze from the sea come in, absorb the strength of the sunrays, and shape around the nostalgia of the epic deeds of Ulysses along the Circe’s Shores. This unique fusion of history, environment, soil, and beauty is treasured by our centuries-old olive trees cultivated by organic farming methods. Now it can be revealed to you – mò mò as the essence of the secrets of our places.
